Synopsis:

 Choosing between the love of a good man and faith in God is a tough call, especially for rebel vicar Peter Simmons.  Peter ministers to an inner-city parish in New Zealand where he lives with his Samoan boyfriend of many years, Jason. When Peter and Jason agree to get married news of the forbidden marriage explodes, Peter finds himself under siege and the Bishop demands his resignation. The wedding is in jeopardy, the relationship is threatened, and Peter finds himself questioning his faith.
